P90x Week 4

So, I had a great week last week. I’m going to be honest, I really just want to do CardioX and Ab Ripper X2 (I know it sounds wrong, whatever). Well, I started to take out my summer clothes and the first thing I did was grab a dress that just fit last summer (and by just fit I mean I had to hold my breath to zip it up) fit perfect. Its a little tight up top (only surgery can help me there) but in the stomach area it was definitely looser. I can wear one of my favorite dresses and breathe. So, like I said in the beginning I’m not following the meal plan. I eat pretty well as it is, and I don’t eat fish, so gross. I also think its hard to follow a diet when there’s so many yummy places to eat. I started to limit myself by only eating out on the weekends. Well, this weekend was the most delicious weekend. So Monday’s exercising was extremely brutal.

P90x Week 3

I decided not to post everyday because really, there isnt much to say.

But I can say this. So far I’ve lost about 1.5 lb and today a pair of pants that usually fit a little too tight sometimes fit perfectly.

I dont see a difference really, but then again its only been 2 weeks.

P90x Week 2-Day 2- Kenpo

Well, I was sick the last 2 days so P90 was out of the question.

I picked up from where I left off.

Today was Kenpo. It was pretty fun. I definitely felt like an Avenger doing it.

I think Im doing this whole thing wrong. I dont really see a difference, but then again Its only been a week. I guess I expect too much too soon.

P90x Week 2-Day 1- Yogax

So far I dont notice a physical difference. I have noticed that the program is getting easier to follow. Some of the exercises I couldn’t do before I found were a little bit easier to follow now. Some for the life of me I still can’t figure out, but its only my second time doing it.

Hopefully by the end of the month Ill see some results. I think tomorrow Im going to take measurements to see, but since I started last week it’s obviously going to be off. But, we shall see.

Also, I know it’s only week 2 but I noticed that I dont mind doing it. Some days obviously this isnt how I feel. But, I soldier on.

P90x Day 5

Today was Legs and Back and Ab Ripper.

I found that the leg exercises were really easy to follow, some of the stuff Ive done so far, I could never figure out quite how to execute it but these were a little easier for me to follow. The only problem today is that you need to do a lot of pull ups and I have nowhere to do them, so that didnt really help.

Today was the first day I did the Ab Ripper. Since I lost my copy of Ab Ripper, someone made me a copy of the Ab Ripper for X2 so it might be different than the one I should be doing. I definitely felt the burn though. I liked it though, and I might just do it a few times a week.

P90x Day 4

Well, it’s day 4 AND Friday. I have to be honest, I neither wanted to work, nor gave it my all.

Today was yoga.

It was a 67 minute program, and I did 50. I know it seems like I gave up (and I did)but in my defense, its Friday!!!

I used to do Hot Yoga, and I have to be honest, that was wayyy harder. There were a few moves where I couldnt even understand what he was doing, and I tried but I thought I was going to break my arms.

In all honesty, I might not be giving it 100% but I guess 90% is better than doing nothing.

(sidenote: I didnt know you could sweat so much from Yoga)

P90x Day 3

So, today was chest shoulders and triceps. HOLY SHIT!!! I think today was the hardest day so far. Ive learned that I definitely dont know how to do push ups, but I also learned that you dont have to sweat to get a good workout. I tried to fold a shirt, and jesus did I want to cry.

No matter how much you dont want to do it, if you push throught the dont, you’ll get to the want to.
